Basically, men should be men. Its a very old trope. Hell, its as old as the Iliad, with lover boy Paris being a loser hated by everyone, and manly Hector being a hero respected by all, even his enemies.LG IIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00442467461004471562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3971749143319319294.post-9755055198615144162014-01-02T12:43:04.351+13:002014-01-02T12:43:04.351+13:00Lets agree to disagree on this one. As a big Slannesh fan (you may recall my horrible pink chaos army from back in the day..... the veiny ones) I have always felt we got the worst end of the deal here.

Khorne got beserkers who rock close combat, Nurgle got the toughest line infantry in the game with plague marines, Tzeentch got the weird thousand sons cybermen troops with wizard leaders and slannesh..... we got hair metal rockers with noise weapons. Even with the changes they lack the game defining role the others do. The are basically a crappy devastator squad.

On the bright side I salvaged those noise marines parts for my sons of medusas. Sure they had a rather silly origin, but so did a lot of 40K elements. For instance they look like this now, as opposed to 80s glam metal rockers.... http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121002143331/warhammer40k/images/c/ca/NoiseMarine0.jpgThe Megapopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15127036057462975805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3971749143319319294.post-47927237269015209182013-12-05T15:26:59.964+13:002013-12-05T15:26:59.964+13:00As always, a great review.
